Liesje Mentens

Collages and illustrations just a little bit outside the mainstream. Mostly made by founded paper. With scissors and a lot of pleasure. Published by Belgian magazines and books. For other pretty graphics and paintings scroll down.

Driven by a passion for painting and typography, in 2015 Liesje launched Tallora, a collection of hand-painted Boch plates in blue and gold. Simple dinner plates are turned into wall art. Upcycling is the future and a beautiful plate doesn’t need to be stored in the cupboard. Made out of love, not meant for lunch!

Liesje (°1979) cuts and pastes words and images for books and magazines. She works as a freelance graphic designer for books and magazines, but also brochures and other artwork. Each issue is beautifully designed and published with her typical cut out signature.
